2020 was a challenging year for the global economy, and the livelihoods of small business owners had been disproportionately at risk. That’s why QuickBooks UK wanted to support and celebrate small businesses more than ever.
As part of QuickBooks’ digital content strategy, I administered a series of interviews with small business owners who had survived and thrived in 2020 by adapting their business model to the changing circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. Together with the nominees, I recorded a series of videos in which the small business owners summarised the challenges and successes they had faced in 2020. The interviewees were given a nomination badge to embed on their website and helped promote the content on social media.
QuickBooks’ Most Adaptive Businesses of 2020 campaign generated 17 pieces of coverage from both nominees and small business publications with an average Domain Authority of 23. The coverage generated 25 backlinks and received 9.75K estimated coverage views.*
