It was April 2020, the UK was in the middle of the first COVID-19 lockdown and people were collectively staying at home to slow down the spread of the pandemic. I saw a unique opportunity for Good Hemp to live their values by encouraging people to do their bit for the environment and shop with sustainable food brands during these times of unprecedented change.
We worked with Good Hemp’s previous copywriting agency to produce a guide to the best sustainable food delivery in London, highlighting the go-to places to order recipe boxes, meal subscriptions, vegan snacks, sustainable drinks and, of course, groceries. To those who dared to venture out of the house, we promoted shopping at sustainable local food shops in London. To expand our network even further, we collaborated with food bloggers who submitted delicious vegan recipes to make at home and got tips for growing your own vegetables from Instagram influencers. We wanted to show UK households how easy it is to adopt more eco-friendly habits that make a big difference when multiplied by millions.
The sustainable food guide became the cornerstone of a large outreach campaign that allowed Good Hemp to build lasting relationships with fellow eco-friendly food brands, bloggers and influencers. It generated 19 pieces of online coverage with an average Domain Authority of 29 and 61.1K estimated coverage views.* As a result of our work on this campaign, we became Good Hemp’s new content creation agency of choice.
